Sam Tolchard Awarded Double 2009 Bowls Crown
Torquay bowler Sam Tolchard has become the first person to ever win England's Player and Young Player of the Year awards at the same time.
Sam Tolchard (facebook) is 19 and funnily enough hails from a cricketing family background (ray tolchard), is the national singles bowls champion, a member of the Torquay Bowls Club, and is in the England bowls test team already.
Tolchard has been around the bowling scene since the age of 11.
